It All Starts With Motorcycles

It All Starts With Motorcycles

John has been riding motorcycles for most of his life. His passion runs deep within the community and he has personally ridden some of the bikes we all dream of owning.

John Steps Into Restoring

John Steps Into Restoring

1994 was the official year that John started to dabble in motorcycle restoration. John originally started flipping cheap motorcycles and bringing them back to running condition. Due to his passion and drive for perfection, this quickly turned into high end "collector level" restoration.

With a taste of high end restoration and finding satisfaction with his work and his customers, John specialized in restoring Yamaha IT's only for ten years which then turned into Suzuki's, and most recently Honda CR's.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US

I have purchased several bikes from John and they all turned out nice. We took a trip out to his house to pick up some of them and meet him. John is one of the last guys that can build and make them like new again. Every bike I have from him is like new and its nice to show people history when they come over .  I know we don’t ride them , but I love saving history and so does John. Glad I was able to get my hands on these bikes.

John I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on your work on this bike. Not just a pretty bike John went through it and it runs like new. Bob Hannah signing it was the frosting on the cake! If you have thought of having your Yamaha restored DO IT! You won’t regret it. John is hands down the man for the job and a guy that loves his craft!

Michael (One Bike Purchased)

Special thanks to John at Restoration X Cycle! John does absolutely the most thorough and beautiful restorations of vintage Yamaha dirt bikes that can be found anywhere in the country, and he’s possibly the best in the world!! That’s a 1986 Yamaha IT200 that looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor!

Commonly Asked Questions

Since these builds are so extensive, we are currently working on a 9-12 month completion time. We have to source parts from all over the world so wait times can vary. We do a full frame restoration and go over every inch of the motorcycle. Taking our time allows us to finish the build with the quality that we strive for. Our goal is to have a returning customer that is happy with their new bike.

Prices can vary and are confirmed before build but in general: 80cc $6500, 125cc $7800, 200cc $8000, 250cc $8400, 465/490cc $8800

Take a look at our Inventory List and then Contact Us to get started!

We do not ship any of our completed projects and ask that the customer arranges and pays for their own shipping if needed. We recommend Haul Bikes.

There are not many people that bring these bikes back to the level of quality that we do. 90% of our projects are sold to collectors and must be suitable to have in a collectors museum.
